21apples is powered by…
a number of interesting technologies. I felt strongly that I should use all open source and/or free tools. I also wanted to use tools that represented the new direction of the web, Web 2.0. I chose Ruby on Rails, a spectacular new web framework (watch this movie to see what it can do). For the blog software I chose a relative youngster Typo because of its close ties to emerging web standards/technologies.

I am constantly playing around with the look of this site. Current theme: “Good as Gold,” designed by Cody Estes.
